Hayley is an American actor and singer. Many people know her from her character as Erica Goldberg on the popular comedy television series 'The Goldbergs.' However, she considers herself mostly a musician. Music, according to her, is first thing she is passionate about. Her first time playing the instrument at the age of nine. She began training in the field of music professionally at 12 years old. After some experimentation with writing songs, she recorded the album with music covers when she was 14. There hasn't been a turning around since. Orrantia was born in the USA however she has Hispanic roots. Though she's never was a Spanish speaker in Mexico She is very proud about her Hispanic heritage. She strives to preserve it by learning to speak Spanish as well as writing songs using the Spanish language. The singer recorded the Spanish version of the song called 'Hasta Verte. In the summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first season of The X Factor. Orrantia auditioned, and was selected through YouTube videos and got the four "yeses," from judges at Seattle during live audition phase. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she and three female singers were put together for the remaining auditions of "Hollywood Week". They were eliminated in the fifth week in the live show.
