Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. Kimberly Schmid was born in Vietnam and is of Chinese roots, but her dad Winston Barrett Munn comes from a Southern family. Olivia was two years old when she was divorced from her parents. She is now raised by her mom and stepfather. He is a United States Air Force soldier. Her primary residence was Tokyo, Japan, even though the family moved around a lot. At this point she was a part of a number of local theater productions, and then became a model in the Japanese fashion industry. When the family eventually returned back to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. She began her acting career with a small part. Then, her career gained momentum when she was cast as Mily Acuna in Hawaii's lensed television show Beyond the Break (2006). In 2007 she appeared as Rob Schneider's Receptionist. The G4 podcasts include "The Daily Nut" as well as "Formula D". She loves surfing and has been practising it ever since the television show Beyond the Break (2006). She also has an unofficial black belt in Taekwondo. The woman she married was her mother when she was only two years old, and was an Air Force officer. She was raised primarily in Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather served. The University of Oklahoma is where she pursued her journalism studies, along with minors in Japanese Drama, dramatic and arts.
