Ina-Garten

Ina Garden is an American cookbook author who has won Emmy award. She is the host of the longest-running Food Network series, Barefoot Contessa. It premiered in 2002. It will air for another 27 seasons. Ina began her career by working in the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget, as well as other policy documents. Her first impression was that her job to be intellectually stimulating, after which she resigned and purchased a quaint grocery store that was called Barefoot Contessa. The store was very successful for over 18 years, until she made the decision to close it. Then she began writing the first book. Numerous additional cookbooks as well as magazine articles were later published. In addition, her Food Network TV show also began its first season and became a massive success. Her range of items spans from the kitchen equipment, cooking and baking materials to storage containers. Ina has never been to any cooking school, nor employed in a restaurant, and is completely self-taught. Ina is known for her relaxed approach to cooking and entertaining. She is known for her simple recipes such as Skillet Grilled Lemon Chicken Macaroni and Cheese with Beef Bourguignon and Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
