Ina Garten is an American chef and author and Emmy Award-winning host of Food Network's longest-running program Barefoot Contessa which began broadcasting in 2002 and will run for 27 seasons until 2020. Ina Garten started her professional life at the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budgetary papers. Ina initially enjoyed being stimulated by the intellectual aspect of working for the White House, but eventually began to lose interest. Instead she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty restaurant. The store was a success for 18 years. her store very successful, before selling it off before putting pen to paper to begin writing her first cookbook. Others followed, and so did magazine columns. In the meantime, her Food Network television show too made its debut and became popular. Her range of items spans from the kitchen equipment, cooking and baking materials to storage containers. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself that hasn't attended any cooking classes, nor worked in a kitchen. She's known for her easygoing style of cooking and entertaining. Her most famous recipes are the lemon chicken skeillet as well as Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and The Balsamic Roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Lemon Bars.
