Ina-Garten

Ina Garden is an American author of cookbooks who has been awarded Emmy award. She hosts the oldest Food Network show Barefoot Contessa. It premiered in 2002. It will air for another 27 seasons. Ina began her career working at the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget, as well as other policy reports. In the beginning, she found her work fascinating intellectually after which she resigned and purchased a quaint speciality store for food that was named Barefoot Contessa. The store was very successful for 18 years before she decided to sell it. She then began her first cookbook. Several other books and newspaper articles were published. In the meantime, the Food Network television show too began its run and was very popular. Its products include the kitchen equipment, cooking and baking materials to storage containers. Ina she never went to cooking school, nor did she work in an establishment. Ina is completely self-taught. She's known for her easygoing style of cooking and entertaining. Her most popular recipes include her lemon chicken with a skillet roast, Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & Cheese Beef Bouguignon and balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts, and Lemon Bars.
