Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is an acclaimed American cook book writer and Emmy award winning host of Food Networks current oldest show Barefoot Contessa which debuted in 2002. It has since aired 27 seasons till 2020. Ina began her career in creating nuclear energy policies as well as budgets for the White House. Her first impression was that her job to be intellectually stimulating, but then she lost interest, when she bought a market for specialty foods named Barefoot Contessa. It was a huge success for over 18 years, until she made the decision to close it. She then began the first book. Numerous other books as well as journal articles followed. Between them she also had her own Food Network show was also successful. In addition, she sells everything from cooking equipment to items and even containers. Ina has never attended a cooking school, nor did she worked in restaurants. Ina is totally self-taught. Ina is known for the simplicity of her making food and her unpretentious approach to entertainment. She is known for her simple recipes such as Skillet of Roasted Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese using Beef Bourguignon as well as Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
